Hab 1:2-3 How long, O lord, must I call for help? But you do not listen! \u201cViolence is everywhere!\u201d I cry, but you do not come to save. 3Must I forever see these evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I look, I see destruction and violence. I am surrounded by people who love to argue and fight.(NLT)<\/p>\n
Desperation is \u201ca strong feeling of sadness, fear, and loss of hope. Surrendering to a state of despair, or the state of hopelessness; leading to rashness. In that state of affairs, the devil may want to take toll.<\/p>\n
Habakkuk is an Old Testament minor prophet. He experienced a season of trials that seemed endless. He was desperate for relief, for change, for God to intervene. That is why the prophet is crying unto God. He is asking God how long he shall cry for help. He was in a desperate situation; he needed God’s intervention in his hour of need. Does this sound like something we can relate to?<\/p>\n
We pass through issues of life that makes us desperate. In the process of waiting on God, the enemy usually wants to take charge. That’s why we must be very careful during that period. Temptation is the devil looking through the keyhole. Yielding, is opening the door and inviting him in( Billy Sunday).<\/p>\n
Satan is a master timer and knows how to capitalize on desperation . Let us not give him a platform to reign . Hang on there ! God’s agenda for your life will be fulfilled in Jesus Name.<\/p>\n
