Isa 54:7-8 \u201cFor a brief moment I abandoned you, but I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,\u201d says the Lord your Redeemer.<\/p>\n
Israel has always been a subject of Yahweh’s love and wrath. God rejected Israel for a finite time because of her sins but now , he was going to take her back. A clarion assurance is made to those who drift away from truth and may find it hard for a comeback simply because of God’s anger and abandonment.<\/p>\n
Its God’s nature to momentarily abandon and hide His face when man is loaded with sin . But upon drawing to the cross in humbleness and repentance ,the overflow of His love ,kindness and compassion is manifested .This brings back a lost trodden soul to the master.For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; ( Psa 30:5a)<\/p>\n
Jer 31:3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love ; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.Jer 31:4 Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice.<\/p>\n
