1Jn 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.<\/p>\n
To lavish is to bestow something in generous or extravagant quantities. (on-google dictionary )
\nIn other words, to lavish is to spoil someone for choice with an abundant supply of resources, which you cannot exhaust.<\/p>\n
God is love, and so that is His nature.He has extravagantly \u201cspoilt us\u201d\/giving us His love.
\nWhen a child is born, the parents love the child unconditionally. They spend time with the child in order to bond. They provide for his\/her needs and care for the child. We are privileged to be God’s children. He takes care of us and lavishly provides for us.<\/p>\n
Jn 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that to lay down his life for his friends .
\nIt is because of this love that we are not only God’s children, but His friends too. It is through this love that we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of sins. Let us share this love one with another.<\/p>\n
