When David\u2019s kingdom was firmly established , the name of the Lord was published far and abroad. But great as he was, David did not stand alone. Surrounding him were a band of thirty seven mighty men who accomplished great feats of valor each in his unique way . The top three were Josheb-Basshebeth, who killed eight hundred men in one encounter. Eleazar who struck down the Philistines till his hand grew tired and froze to the sword. And Shammah who single handedly defended a field of lentils against a troop of Philistines.<\/p>\n
If God is going to accomplish a great work among us, then He wants to raise up a band of mighty men and women in our midst who can do great exploits. God works only through those who are fervent in their love for Christ and His kingdom. The church needs mighty men who are attracted to the person of Christ and committed to the cause of Christ . God wants to raise a band that can run havoc the kingdom of darkness and render captives free. We must come up strongly and take our position in the kingdom. For every enterprise, institution and ministry to thrive, we need these type of “go getters” who will set the pace for upward mobility.<\/p>\n
