Jer 18:3-4 So I went down to the potter\u2019s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.<\/p>\n
At the potter’s workshop, hard lumps of clay were broken and expected to release certain level of pliability ,to become the expression of workman’s mind. In case there was failure of the clay to comply , it was taken back to the wheel until its worthlessness and valueless nature was transformed by the masters magical hands into a beautiful admirable vessel of honor.<\/p>\n
We are the earthen vessels carrying valuable treasure .This value can and will only be manifested ,when the clay is kneaded to eliminate air and other foreign material that mar the vessel . An appointment with the wheel is booked by the master ; where we are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed (2Co 4:7\u202d-\u202c9 ). … Until the artistic impression of who we are in the mind of God is manufactured.<\/p>\n
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (Jam 1:2\u202d-\u202c4 ).<\/p>\n
