2Ch 22:3-4 He too followed the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him to act wickedly. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for after his father\u2019s death they became his advisers, to his undoing.<\/p>\n
After the death of Jehoshaphat and Jehoram kings of judah,the people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, Jehoram\u2019s youngest son the king . Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for only one year. His major undoing was his mother Athaliah. Instead of guiding his son to follow the ways of Jehoshaphat his grandfather, he inclined to follow the ways of the house of Ahab, Knowing very well the judgement proclaimed against it resulting in a short lived reign<\/p>\n
An opportunity to bounce back is Gods given grace that needs to be guarded and adored. But the danger of forgetfulness is a thorn in many who squander the opportunity repeating the same mistakes they did or done by their predecessors with less care of repercussions.<\/p>\n
If delivered from sin,substance abuse,divorce,reckless living , misery and handed over a new job,career,business and others , don’t repeat the same old mistake . Living a life of careful walk is paramount. Always remember that given opportunity and favourable environment, the same old habits will sprout and flourish again taking one back to same old cycle<\/p>\n
