Mat 9: 37-38 Then He said to His disciples, \u201cThe harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest”.<\/p>\n
This was said by Jesus after he had appointed and sent out the seventy two to every town and place. Jesus looking over the crowd said ” the harvest is plentiful “. In other words, men are like a field of grain waiting to be harvested but the workers are few.<\/p>\n
Many people have prayed that God would send people to work in the harvest, and then God has surprised them and said: “Okay, I’ll send you”.( Applied New Testament Commentary – Thomas Hale). As believers, we need to prayerfully ask the Lord of the harvest to place us at the right place where we can effectively do ministry.<\/p>\n
If the harvest was a lot then, then it has increased exponentially today – He is still hiring! We can apply to be sent out into his harvest. May our hearts be lifted to the place where we can see the abundance of the harvest . *You can plug in by participating in the harvest, praying “for the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest”, or financially and materially support the harvesters . We also need to study the Kingdom manual so as to have the wisdom of how to handle the harvest.<\/p>\n
