Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A story is told of a boy who arrived home from school with two black eyes. His mother said to him, \u201cHave you been fighting again? Didn\u2019t I tell you that when you are angry you should count to 100 before you did anything?\u201dThe young boy replied, \u201cI know mommy, and that\u2019s what I did, but the other boy\u2019s mother had told  him to count to only 50 . At times ,the counting may be hard or not equal with that of the opponent, but most importantly is to know the  value of the battle.<\/p>\n<p>When David went to the battle field and heard Goliath brag of his might,he confidently knew that it was possible to slay him,,but he restrained himself from picking a war without knowing what the pay price would be.<\/p>\n<p>All of us have found ourselves in skirmishes fighting certain &#8220;Goliaths &#8221; in life. Sadly, some of the battles we find ourselves in, are not worth fighting . Although battles are inevitable, we have an obligation of choosing which battles we will fight and which we will allow to slide  past.
