Gen 41: 38-39 And Pharaoh said to his servants, \u201ccan we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?\u2019\u2019 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, \u201cInasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.<\/p>\n
Pharaoh had a dream and was seeking for one who would interpret the disturbing dream. When Joseph showed up, he surpassed Pharaoh\u2019s expectations. He did not only interpret the dream but went ahead to give a solution that would be implemented to save the nation.The king was impressed by Joseph\u2019s wisdom and would not let him go for he knew he would be an asset in his government.<\/p>\n
During the bounteous season, Joseph established food hoards that would replenish the enation in time of famine. He was a prudent leader who had foresight. He exploited his discerning spirit to plan way ahead thus avoided an economic crunch which could have hit Egypt. When other nations were suffering effects of famine, Egypt stood tall towering on economic leverage.<\/p>\n
Life is a cycle of events which requires proper preparations less we be caught unawares. In any position of leadership we hold, discernment is key to aid us save our institutions and nations from looming crisis . There is an acute shortage of problem solvers in this world flooding with myriads problems. May we be the \u201cJosephs\u201d who will bring a turn around.<\/p>\n
