Rom 8:1-2 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.<\/p>\n
Condemnation refers to feelings of guilt, shame, regret, fear and unworthiness usually stemming from a past mistake or experience. These past sins could have happened ten or more years ago or one minute ago. Anytime we miss the mark, as we all do from time to time, the enemy will try his best to bring condemnation on us .<\/p>\n
Paul had just built a case that we\u2019re all guilty before a holy God. There\u2019s not one person , religious or not who can escape Gods eternal judgment because nobody measures up to God\u2019s standard. Nobody can stand before God boldly with our record exposed. We\u2019re all in big trouble on our own, and should be concerned with God\u2019s condemnation .The law of sin is so much embedded in our nature and keeps on driving us to sin more and more .<\/p>\n
Upon realisation that we are wretched ,Paul delivers a message of hope to all those who have messed up or already in a mess and unable to melt and erode its pangs and fangs of unworthiness. He declares that the past ,present and future mistakes for all those in Christ Jesus have already been dealt a blow by the Spirit of life .We can now stand washed ,sanctified and justified before God.Believers need to own this promise .Satan wins our mind by allowing self reprimand instead of allowing conviction and repentance.<\/p>\n
