It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Num 13:29 &#8220;Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there.<\/p>\n<p>There are some words in English that can change the entire context of a sentence, a conversation , even the outcome of an entire situation. One of those words is &#8221; nevertheless &#8220;. When this word is used at the end of either a positive or a negative sentence, it serves to mark a transition to something new ( Steven Shubert).<\/p>\n<p>The first thing the spies did was to give a report of the land &#8211; wonderful as God had said. The promised land was surely overflowing with milk and honey. Indeed, they even carried the exhibits &#8211; the fruits &#8211; to prove that the land was extremely fruitful . But then they added  &#8221; nevertheless &#8220;. Out of the twelve spies, ten of them had a defeatist mentality. And this changed the entire situation!<\/p>\n<p>By the use of &#8221; Nevertheless&#8221; , the tenor of the report quickly changed to a negative assessment of the possibility of conquering the heavily fortified cities and the numerous inhabitants, which included giants . What we believe about ourselves significantly affects what we become.
