And, look, I am gathering two sticks, so that I can go in and prepare it for myself and my son, so that we can eat it, and die\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Little Johnny\u2019s dad came to him and said, &#8220;Johnny I am so sorry I can\u2019t get you the toys that Billy\u2019s dad buys him, and I am so sorry I can\u2019t get you the nice clothes that Tommy\u2019s dad buys him, and I am also sorry I can\u2019t take you hunting every weekend like James dad does for him but I have something for you .Without knowing what the something was, Little Johnny looked at his dad and said Dad, Something is better than Nothing!<\/p>\n<p>Unlike many of us ,the widow of Zarephath didn&#8217;t declare emptiness in his jar but just like the little Johnny,she said I have a handful of flour  and a little oil .<br \/>\nWhatever little  you have  isn&#8217;t nothing but something better than nothing.<br \/>\nLittle energy,little time,little resources,little faith,little education,little food etc. All these littles aren&#8217;t nothing but something .
