1 Sam 2:1
\nAnd Hannah prayed, and said,
\n\u201cMy heart rejoices in the LORD.
\nMy horn is exalted in the LORD:
\nmy mouth is opened wide
\nagainst my enemies,
\nbecause I rejoice in your
\nsalvation. \u201d<\/p>\n
Years of pain coupled with her rival’s provocation severely irritated her. Hannah’s pain was imminent because the LORD had shut up her womb. And it happened year by year when she went up to the house of the LORD, that Peninah provoked her. Therefore she wept, and did not eat. No amount of Eli’s consolation was enough to relive her pain.<\/p>\n
After constant supplications, the LORD remembered her and in due time, after Hannah had conceived, she bore a son. And she called his name Samuel, saying, \u201cBecause I asked the LORD for him” Its at this point that a prayer of praise raises from her lips and she rejoices in the lord of her salvation.<\/p>\n
Barrenness is painful and more so if the enemy and Provokers are in constant reminder of your state .It increases pain in life and sucks the joy of living. If all this is terminated by an unexpected miracle, turn around of events takes charge. The once sobbing tongue becomes the praising lip.We all experience some of its forms ,finances ,physical, spiritual ,economical etc .Clinging on to the opener of closed wombs is enough assurance that pain of life is temporary and will soon be dissolved by praise of lips for what the Lord will do!<\/p>\n
