Mal 4:6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is the last verse in the Old Testament. It preceded a three hundred year period when the Lord was quiet until the coming of The Messiah in the New Testament. It speaks about prophet Elijah coming back to fulfil this word. John The Baptist was a fore-runner of Christ with the message of repentance, to turn the hearts of the children of Israel back to the Father in heaven through Christ.<\/p>\n
The place of a Father in the family and society at large is very foundational. A father is the source of Identity from conception, to the growth and maturity of a child. He is the beacon of stability and security.<\/p>\n
Today\u2019s world is ailing because of the immense gap between Fathers and their children. Many children are seeking to furnish this rift. Fathers are role models and mentors not only to their biological children but also to the spiritual.<\/p>\n
When the Lord comes in and turns the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children back to their fathers, there will be balance in the society. Children will have a sense of identity, belonging and accountability, Just as a river going back to its course.<\/p>\n
