I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.<\/p>\n<p>This was before  the fall of Jericho.  God had already delivered Jericho into their hands. He did not say &#8221; I will give&#8221;.&#8221; He said  &#8220;I have given.&#8221; The victory belonged to the children of Israel and now they were called to take possession of it.( Streams in the desert) The big question still remaining was how.<\/p>\n<p>By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after they had marched around them  for seven days ( Heb 11:30) . It was faith that dared to claim a promised victory solely on the basis of  the authority of God&#8217;s word.
