However, Jesus calls us to a higher standard of love and kindness, not based on others’ actions but on the goodness He’s placed in us. Our actions should reflect God’s goodness in us, not the behavior of others. “Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone

When others act unkindly, it’s tempting to respond in the same way. But God calls us to act with grace and integrity regardless of how we’re treated. Instead of letting others’ actions determine our response, we should set the example by being kind, compassionate, and respectful. Our choices should inspire change rather than mirror negativity. Reflecting God’s goodness means choosing to respond with patience, forgiveness, and kindness rather than letting anger or resentment guide our reactions. Our natural inclination may be to repay hurt with hurt, but God calls us to rise above that and respond with goodness. When we respond with grace, we disrupt the cycle of negativity.

Jesus demonstrated unconditional love even for those who betrayed or wronged Him.He asks us to extend the same kind of love to others. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it’s essential for a heart that reflects Christ. When we forgive, we release the hold that hurt has on us and allow God’s peace to fill our hearts. Let us be people who treat others based on who we are in Christ, not based on how others act. May our kindness, grace, and forgiveness reflect the heart of God, leading others to experience His love through us.

Further readings:
Rom 12:17
Joh. 13:34
Luk. 6:28

🙏 Blessed Week 🙏

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31) It’s easy to treat others based on how they treat us, especially when we feel wronged.
