Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Despair is the enemy of hope. It sneaks in during life&#8217;s darkest valleys and whispers that things will never change, that dreams are dead, and that God has forgotten. But despair is a liar\u2014and we must not let it hold the pen to our story.<\/p>\n<p>Despair says, \u201cThis is the end.\u201d God says, \u201cI am the Author and the Finisher\u201d (Heb. 12:2).<\/p>\n<p>Just like the Psalmist, we may feel disturbed, downcast, and broken. But there is a \u201cyet\u201d in every believer\u2019s spirit\u2014\u201cI will yet praise Him.\u201d That \u201cyet\u201d is the hinge between despair and hope, between sorrow and strength.<\/p>\n<p>The Author of Life is still writing. Every trial is a paragraph, not the final chapter. Every setback is part of the plot that leads to a greater glory. Don\u2019t give despair the pen. Give it back to the One who makes all things new.<\/p>\n<p>So today, refuse to let despair define your future. Let hope write your next line. Let faith take over the narrative.
