Job 13:15 (KJV) \u201cThough he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.\u201d<\/p>\n
Real faith is not proven by ease, but by endurance. It\u2019s easy to trust when things make sense. But when God is silent, and pain is loud\u2014faith that won\u2019t let go emerges. Jacob wrestled all night, wounded in the hip, yet he refused to release the angel until he received the blessing ( Gen 32:26). That is the faith that fights through fatigue.<\/p>\n
Job knew this kind of faith. Though crushed by loss, abandoned by comfort, and confused by God\u2019s silence, he said, \u201cThough He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.\u201d This wasn\u2019t blind optimism; it was deep-rooted trust. And in the end, God honored it\u2014restoring Job with double for all his sorrow (Job 42:10). Suffering didn\u2019t destroy his faith\u2014it revealed it.<\/p>\n
Even the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15 kept pleading when others would\u2019ve walked away. Jesus tested her faith, not to break her, but to draw it out. He called it \u201cgreat faith.\u201d The faith that won\u2019t let go is persistent, prayerful, and often born in pain. God doesn\u2019t overlook it. Hold on\u2014even if you’re limping. The blessing is often on the other side of the struggle.<\/p>\n
