If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?”

Jesus’ words are both a command and a revelation: “Do not worry.” He explains that worry cannot achieve even the smallest change in life. It cannot add height, time, or strength. In other words, worry is powerless to produce solutions. It drains energy, clouds judgment, and offers nothing in return. By worrying, we waste mental and spiritual resources that could be used to trust God and take constructive action.

Persistent worry also affects our spiritual health. It erodes faith, interrupts prayer, and blinds us to God’s promises. Worry shifts focus from God’s ability to our inability, creating a sense of distance from Him. This not only robs us of peace but can also limit our capacity to receive guidance, build faith, and maintain healthy relationships. True spiritual growth flourishes where faith replaces fear and trust overcomes anxiety.

Worry can’t heal, can’t provide, and can’t open doors. It cannot erase the past, reshape today, or design the future. It is an unproductive weight that God never intended us to carry. The solution is clear: cast every care upon Him, because He cares for us (1 Pet 5:7). By replacing worry with faith, we invite peace, clarity, and divine intervention into every circumstance.

Further readings:
Luk 12:29
Phi 4:6-7
1 Pet 5:7

🙏 Blessed Day 🙏

Luk 12:22, 25–26 (KJV) “And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on… And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
