Ruth 1:16-17 (NKJV)
\n\u201cBut Ruth said: \u2018Entreat me not to leave you, or to turn back from following after you; for wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. Where you die, I will die, and there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, if anything but death parts you and me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Decisions shape destiny. Ruth\u2019s response to Naomi was more than loyalty; it was a choice that aligned her with God\u2019s plan. Leaving Moab for Bethlehem meant embracing covenant over comfort and faith over familiarity. That step opened doors for divine favor, making her part of the lineage of Christ (Matt 1:5). Favor is not accidental; it follows decisions rooted in trust and obedience.<\/p>\n
Abraham made such a decision when he left his homeland, not knowing where he was going (Heb 11:8). Esther also chose to risk her life, saying, \u201cIf I perish, I perish\u201d (Esth 4:16). These choices attracted God\u2019s favor because they placed His will above personal safety. When we choose obedience over compromise, we position ourselves for blessings that no man can block.<\/p>\n
Ruth\u2019s story reminds us that favor follows faith-filled choices. When we prioritize God\u2019s purpose over comfort, He responds with open doors and provision (Rev 3:8). Your decisions today can determine your destiny tomorrow. Align them with God\u2019s will, and His favor will rest on your life.<\/p>\n
