They create false judgments, break relationships, and blind us from the truth. God\u2019s Word warns that speaking or acting without full understanding is folly. To assume is to lean on appearances rather than facts, but to listen and seek truth is wisdom.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus said, \u201cJudge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment\u201d (John 7:24). The first story may sound right, but only when cross-examined does the truth emerge (Prov. 18:17). James reminds us to be \u201cquick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger\u201d (James 1:19). Wisdom is not found in haste, but in patience, careful listening, and discernment.<\/p>\n<p>When we pause, listen, and confirm, we walk in truth and avoid shame.
