There are times when we are stripped of our strength, beaten by trials, and left barely holding on. Yet, this story isn’t about defeat. It’s about hope. Just as the Samaritan arrived in time, so does God. Often, His help comes through unexpected people. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).

The wounded man couldn’t help himself—but grace found him. Likewise, when we are weak, God’s power steps in. “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Sometimes God allows our strength to fail so His strength can be seen. As Paul heard from God, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Co12:9).

This truth moves us to action. The Samaritan didn’t just feel pity—he helped. We are called to do the same. Your wounds don’t disqualify you; they prepare you to lift others. What stripped you will not define you. What beat you will not bury you. God is still your healer. You may be down, but you are never out when He is near.

Further Readings:
Job 5:19
Psa 34:19
2 Tim 3:11–12

🙏 Blessed Day

Luk 10:30 (NKJV) “Then Jesus answered and said: ‘A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.’” Life can resemble this parable—unpredictable and painful.
