Hebrews 10:23 \u2013 \u201cLet us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)\u201d<\/p>\n
The book of Hebrews was written to believers tempted to let go under pressure. Persecution, fear, and disappointment clouded their confidence. Yet the writer urges: hold fast. Don\u2019t let go. The hope we profess is not wishful thinking\u2014it is anchored in a faithful God. When the storm rages, it\u2019s not the strength of the boat but the trustworthiness of the anchor that holds.<\/p>\n
Abraham held to hope when all reason said otherwise. \u201cAgainst all hope, Abraham in hope believed\u2026\u201d (Rom. 4:18). His faith was not in what he saw, but in what God said. Joseph, chained and forgotten, still held fast to the dreams God gave him. Hope doesn\u2019t deny pain\u2014it outlasts it. Because God cannot lie, hope in Him is never in vain (Titus 1:2).<\/p>\n
So don\u2019t loosen your grip\u2014tighten it. Let your confession rise louder than your fear. Hold fast when it\u2019s hard, when it\u2019s silent, when nothing makes sense\u2014because He who promised is still faithful. Speak His Word even when your voice shakes. Keep declaring His goodness, His power, His promises. Your faith is not in vain. Heaven hears, and the One who called you is watching over His word to perform it. Hold fast\u2014and don\u2019t let go.<\/p>\n
