\n\u201cThe Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n
When a nation weeps, Heaven listens. When a people mourn together, God bends close to heal their collective heart. Mourning is not a mark of weakness\u2014it is the evidence of love and unity. We grieve not because we have lost everything, but because someone meant everything to us.<\/p>\n
From Israel\u2019s lament in exile to David\u2019s tears for Jonathan, Scripture reminds us that even collective sorrow can become sacred soil for new strength. God has not forsaken this land\u2014He is walking with it through the valley. He turns mourning into meaning, pain into purpose, and ashes into awakening. The same God who saw Israel through her midnight will see this nation through its moment of loss.<\/p>\n
As Nelson Mandela once said, \u201cOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate; our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.\u201d Grief reminds us of our shared humanity, but hope calls us to rebuild together. A nation united in tears can become a nation united in triumph\u2014for resurrection always follows the cross.<\/p>\n
