The nearer the light, the sharper the shadows of our own frailty.<\/p>\n<p>True acquaintance does not shrink God\u2014it expands Him. It does not lessen wonder\u2014it multiplies it. To know Him is to worship, to see Him is to tremble, and to walk with Him is to bow low in holy awe.
