Jer 17:14 (KJV) \u201cHeal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.\u201d<\/p>\n
When all else fails, the Great Physician never does. Jeremiah\u2019s prayer shows that true healing\u2014physical, emotional, or spiritual\u2014comes from God alone. Doctors treat, but only God heals at the root. His ability is limitless because He made the body, soul, and spirit. As Charles Spurgeon said, \u201cThe Lord is great at all things, but at healing broken hearts He is greatest of all.\u201d Trust is the bridge between your pain and His power.<\/p>\n
The Bible reveals countless encounters with this Great Physician. He restored sight to the blind (Mark 8:25), cleansed lepers (Luke 17:14), raised the dead (John 11:43-44), and forgave sins while healing bodies (Matt 9:6). Even when physicians failed, He succeeded\u2014like the woman with the issue of blood who spent all she had, yet was made whole by touching His garment (Mark 5:25-34). When Jesus steps in, impossibilities become testimonies.<\/p>\n
The danger is trusting man more than God. Medical help is good, but it has limits. Psalm 118:8 reminds us, \u201cIt is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.\u201d Trusting the Great Physician means taking your diagnosis to the One who knows every cell and thought. His medicine is mercy; His surgery is grace. The sooner you trust Him, the sooner your healing\u2014inside or out\u2014begins.<\/p>\n
