Jacob limped away from Peniel, but he limped blessed (Gen 32:24\u201331). The limp wasn\u2019t shame\u2014it was a signature of survival. He wrestled with God and came out changed. Sometimes what wounds you doesn\u2019t weaken you; it witnesses that you\u2019ve been in a divine struggle and lived to tell it. Scars can speak louder than sermons\u2014they say, \u201cI met God in the pain, and I didn\u2019t die there.\u201d<\/p>\n
David didn\u2019t deny the valley; he walked through it. \u201cThough I walk\u2026\u201d shows motion even in the shadows. You may not be running, but as long as you\u2019re walking, you\u2019re winning. Faith isn\u2019t always sprinting through storms\u2014it\u2019s limping through valleys and refusing to collapse. The valley is temporary; the Shepherd is eternal.<\/p>\n
So limp forward if you must. Cry forward if you must. Just don\u2019t stop. The devil celebrates when you freeze, but heaven applauds when you move. Every step, however slow, is defiance against despair. The limp is your proof\u2014you fought, you fell, you got back up, and you\u2019re still moving.<\/p>\n
