David looked like a forgotten shepherd, Joseph wore prison chains, Moses had a stammer, and Jesus lay in a manger. None looked like greatness, yet each carried divine purpose. The ugliest wrapping does not diminish the value of the gift\u2014it often protects it until God\u2019s appointed moment.<\/p>\n<p>The danger of judging by appearance is missing what God is doing. David seemed too small, the loaves too little, and the Jordan too dirty. Many blessings arrive in forms that don\u2019t match our expectations\u2014hard seasons, uncomfortable assignments, or painful experiences. Yet inside them God hides growth, direction, and unexpected breakthrough.<\/p>\n<p>Wisdom looks past the wrapping to discern the gift. What appears as setback may be preparation; what looks like rejection may be redirection; what feels like loss may be hidden promotion. The cross itself was the ugliest wrapping, yet inside was salvation.
