Acts 16:26 \u201cSuddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone\u2019s chains were loosed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Paul and Silas were beaten, chained, and locked in the inner prison (Acts 16:22\u201324). To human eyes, it looked like defeat and delay. But what seemed like a setback was actually a setup for God\u2019s power. The enemy thought he had silenced them, yet heaven saw a platform for glory. That prison was not the end of their assignment \u2014 it was the stage for a miracle.<\/p>\n
At midnight, in pain and darkness, they prayed and sang hymns to God (Acts 16:25). Instead of complaining, they worshiped. Instead of fear, they chose faith. Their praise became a weapon, and their prayer unlocked heaven. Suddenly the earth shook, doors opened, and chains fell off. What strength could not break, worship shattered in a moment.<\/p>\n
But the greatest miracle was not just freedom from chains \u2014 it was salvation for a household. The jailer who guarded them found Jesus that very night (Acts 16:31\u201334). What was meant to confine them became the doorway to someone else\u2019s deliverance. And this is our hope today: God is still in the business of delivering His people. No chain is too strong, no night too dark. When God steps in, prisons shake, doors open, chains fall, and lives are saved. Your midnight is not your end \u2014 it is the birthplace of your breakthrough.<\/p>\n
