Ex 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
Ex 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
It is evident that God took cognisant of Israelites prevailing predicament as they were oppressed by their taskmasters. God did not only see and hear but came down to deliver them.
Three things are evident:
1.He saw. He took note of their affliction.
2.He heard their cry. Their cry reached out to God
3.He knew their sorrows. He identified the sorrowful state that they were in.
Have you ever been in a sorrowful state where it seems you are in between a rock and a hard surface? All that gapes at you is nothing but trouble? Be comforted to know that this has not bypassed God. His eyes are upon us when we feel overwhelmed by situations and circumstances.
The Good News is that He is coming down to liberate us. He will usher us into a place where we shall trade our sorrows for His Joy.
