STEADY IN UNSTEADY WORLD.

Col 1:23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

Colossse was in a geographical location that was prone to earthquake. Houses not properly grounded would collapse during such eventualities. Therefore Paul’s message to them imploring them to continue in faith, to be steady and grounded and not to be moved away from the hope of the Gospel was well understood.

The current situations and circumstances have the capacity to derail us from our faith if we are not steadfast and grounded. We are occasionally tossed up and down by fear , uncertainty and disruptive unpredictable seasons.

We must purpose to remain steadfast and grounded in prayer and in the unshakable word of God. Regardless of whatever comes our way, we should not be easily unruffled or upset. We must continue in faith.
