What a force public opinion is! We cannot see it, nor touch it and yet it is a great factor in shaping our actions and character. ( W.Park) Many get injured or severely worked up when they get to hear what has been said or alleged to have been said concerning them. Some get wounded in their attempt to investigate further.
There are some people in this world who are utterly committed to misunderstand you. They will always have a way of twisting the facts through omission , addition or exaggeration. The best way to deal with such is to take no heed to what has been said. Credit them not, neither care for them.
We should not be too curious to know what other people say or think about us but rather, we should always be anxious to know God’s opinion of us and to have his approval. Do not allow yourself to be vexed , grieved or provoked into action. Learn to ignore.
