2Ki 20:20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah–all his might, and how he made a pool and a tunnel and brought water into the city–are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
The above portion of scripture does not covers all but only one of Hezekiah’s achievements. He constructed a reservoir for water and a tunnel that allowed water to come into the city of Jerusalem. By doing so, he brought plentiful supply of water into the city.
Other achievements include the increase of his riches, his store houses of corn, wine and oil, his stalls for all manner of beasts, his cities , flocks and herds. (2Ch 32:24-33)
On top of his spiritual steadfastness, Hezekiah left a legacy which we can make reference of today. God has placed each one of us strategically to accomplish certain purposes. It could be a family set up, a job, a business, a ministry etc. What will you be remembered for? Whatever you do, leave a legacy.
