Mat 4:10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only .’ ”
These words spoken by Jesus to Satan are not only precise but firmly and fitfully given. Jesus uttered them from a perspective of a nagging and annoying opposition from which we all can relate with.
If you think the enemy will leave you enjoy your comfort, then think again. Someone put it this way : if you think the stubborn bull will leave you alone if you don’t bother it and you are a vegetarian, then walk near it and see if it won’t poke you.
We need to persist and never ever give up. When he attacks our homes, the Church, our schools etc , don’t give up. It’s time to boldly and zealously tell Satan, ” Away from me Satan! Mat 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
