Isa 52:12 But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
When God spoke of restoration, redemption and freedom for Zion from captivity ,He cautioned them that it wasn’t to be a quick fix occurrence but a well choreographed and planned move with God forming the fore and rear guard.
Christian friends,God has promised the same freedom and restoration to us. sometimes we are tempted to do some things outside Gods timetable and outside his least common multiple. We rebel in disbelief , inaction and doubt . Sometimes when all signs and warning lights are blinking STOP , we engage our drive gear and move hastily in a direction of our own choice.
We leave Yahweh out of our plans and machinations forgetting that at the end only God’s purposes will be established .God will make everything beautiful not in haste and not in flight ,but in His own pace. The Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
