Psa 37:25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
When David came to his latter years of life ,he noted with nostalgia the provision of Jehovah throughout his entire life .Looking back across the landscape of his life, David could see the Lord’s faithfulness in providing for His own . He noted in psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing .
No matter how difficult the crisis we may face, life can never create a vacuum or void that God is unable to fill. Our days of scarcity may blur our vision and tempt us to think we are living in the begging phase .But as the Lord ponders our needs, He never misses even the smallest of details because it is His reputation that is at stake. The greatest lack has already been sorted out by abundance of his riches
Psalm 84:11, “No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly .” God will never hold out, hold back or hold on to anything that is necessary for our lives. God’s provision is as reliably ours as the morning sun and the night moonlight. You may ask, ” But, what about those cloudy days ?” Just because you cannot visibly see the sun and moon does not mean they are not there. Temporal lack doesn’t make us beggars. Our needs cannot outdo God’s provision .
