Ex 3:10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt .โ
This was a discourse between the Lord and Moses in the wilderness when Moses had an encounter with the burning bush. Moses was born at a time when the Israelites were deep in slavery. By now, he was an old man of about eighty years old. He had spent forty years in Pharaohโs palace and forty in the wilderness as a shepherd.
This assignment was too big for him. Humanly speaking , he did not have the capacity to deliver over two million people from slavery. He gave the Lord reasons for not carrying out this great assignment. The Lord promised to be with him and also connect him with his elder brother Aaron who would be his spokesman.
The Lord provided all that was needed in order to accomplish his divine will . All that God needed from Moses was obedience. The Lord is still in the business of engaging us to accomplish his divine assignments.
Which is that dream, vision or assignment the Lord has planted in your heart? It may seem next to impossible in your eyes. Do not despair, If it is his will, He will foot the bill. We need not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, let our requests be made known to God, for with Him, all things are possible.
