Psa 90:15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen trouble.
The psalmist opens up a chapter explaining how painful it is to experience the wrath of the maker , consumed by His anger and terrified by His indignation. ” Our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan . If our strength endures, the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. If only we knew the power of your anger! Your wrath is as great,” 90:7-11
.But as he concludes the lamentation, he makes a solemn plea to the maker .He request for a compensation equivalent to the years of pain, wrath, indignation, moaning and trouble.
Life oftentimes serve us with a slate of loathful menu consisting of hot peppers of pain ,regrets, moaning ,sorrow etc . A prayerful supplication resembling that of David is of uttermost importance. Requesting God to compensate for the seconds , minutes ,hours days ,weeks ,months and years sodden with pain and tears is a worth task. He is not only willing , but also able to do so.
