Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.
We wake up for an overly programmed day. We start the day off with a rushed morning devotion as our minds runs through the days activities. As we sit down for breakfast, we don’t even get the real taste of what we eat. We fail to take notice of that child who is craving for your attention, that neighbour wearing a big smile as you zoom along your neighborhood and that colleague who is struggling to catch your attention.
During the day , we are much worried about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year and the next of everything . In such moments, we fail to take notice of what God is doing in our lives. We miss the beauty God has placed in others. We become ” bloated and overly – caffeinated leaving little margin to notice God’s blessings, or, God himself “( Bryan Stoudt).
This is the day the Lord has made , we will rejoice and be glad in it. We have to purpose to live one day at a time. We have to intentionally enthrone Jesus on the driver’s seat of our lives everyday. It’s good to start noticing what we are missing and purpose to be a partaker of God’s blessings each and everyday.
