GOD’S PROJECT NEVER STALLS.

Phi 1:6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.( Amp)

Paul , talking to the Philippine church brings to their attention that Jesus Christ began some good work in them. He is describing the process of Christian growth and maturity that begins when one accepts the Lord Jesus and continues until the time of His return.

Sometimes we feel as if we are not making any progress in our spiritual, social and economic life . It’s worth noting that we are God’s project and whatever He starts, He finishes. Just like the Philippians, God will help us grow in grace until He has completed His work in our lives. (Life application Bible)

When we feel incomplete , unfinished or distressed by our shortcomings, we should remember God’s promises and provisions . Despite what we may be going through, we should not let our current condition rob us the joy of knowing Christ or keep us from growing. Remember that “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Eph. 2:10, NLT)
