Num 13:30,31 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we .
Moses sent the twelve spies to spy the promised land. Ten out of the twelve brought a negative report. Only Joshua and Caleb brought a positive one. Yes the cities were fortified and surrounded by wide and high walls. The inhabitants were formidable men.(from seven to nine feet tall). Israelites looked like grasshoppers in their own sight and also before the them.
Every promised land has it’s giants. Every blessing has it’s own challenges. Our responsibility is to show up for the battle and allow God to fight for us. Like the children of Israel, we have a destiny in God. But for the realization of that particular destiny, we must conquer the giants along the way. Giants may appear in different forms; diseases, lack, family disputes, unemployment, challenges in the ministry etc .
God is committed to see that which He promised come to pass. No matter the giants on our way, we can take the one who promised to be faithful. All giants on our way must bow in Jesus Name. My giant may not be your giant, but it’s presence should not not deter you from entering your God given destiny.
