2Kgs 6:17 And Elisha prayed, ” Open his eyes that he may see” The Lord opened the young man’s, ànd when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire( NLT)
The Syrians sent a major expedition to surround Elisha in Dothan. When the servant of the man of God woke up early and went out, behold he saw a great army surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, ” Alas, my master, what shall we do?”
The man of God answered ” Do not fear, those who are with us are more than those who are with them” . Then he prayed for him that the Lord would open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened his eyes and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
There are times in our lives when we get overwhelmed and feel as if God is nowhere in the equation. The truth of the matter is that God has got you covered. He has put a hedge of protection around you and the devil knows it too well. Those that are with us are more than those who are with them . In the Lord’s hands , we are safe and secure!*
