Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.
Job must have been very cautious of his innocence. Although his three friends maintained that Job must have sinned in order to warrant such trouble, Job correctly maintained that regardless of whatever he was going through, he had not sinned against God.
Despite all that, his trust in God was immovable. Even if God would slay him and utterly finish him, yet he still hope in him. Even though he blamed God for all his problems, Job was not willing to part ways with him. He believed that at the end of it all, he would plead his case.
We must purpose to hang – on regardless of whatever we are going through. We may not be able to understand the genesis of it all, but one thing we are sure of it has not gone unnoticed by Yahweh. This is the time to trust him more than ever before.Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
