Joh 20:26 And after eight days his disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. The doors were locked but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, “Peace be to you”.
After Jesus death and resurrection, fear of the unfolding events engulfed the disciples. They were locked in a room trying to explain the happenings and unexpectedly the resurrected Christ appeared and stood before them. The door remained locked but this didn’t deter Him from getting in. If the tomb stone couldn’t hold Him, Locked doors can’t stop Him either.
Like what most of us do, may be they had even locked the gate, but He got into the compound, they had locked the door ,he got into the house and they were locked in unbelief ,he got into their hearts. Jesús is not just the door but the gate!.” I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture ” (John10:9).
There are many places in life that seems impassable and impossible because walls of restrictions barricade them. Unsurmountable physical and spiritual obstacles exists. Jesus’ resurrection is a perfect guarantee that no wall is permanent .It brings access and accessibility, breaking the obstacles and ushering breakthroughs to things you you could not access.
