Luke 18:4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,
Luke 18:5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”
Consistency means persistence, not compromising, free from distractions, resolute.Spiritual consistency develops routine and builds momentum – it forms habits. It becomes a source of encouragement to us and even to people around us. This principle is applicable in anything and everything we lay our hands on
Jesus told a parable of unrighteous judge, who did not fear God nor have any regard for man. Yet there was a widow who went to him and requested to be vindicated against her enemies. For awhile, the judge refused to avenge her. But because of her consistency , the unrighteous judge finally gave in and avenged her lest by her continued coming , she would wear him out!
Consistent practices like prayer , fasting , attending fellowships, Bible study etc creates a foundation for our spiritual lives and helps us to navigate challenges with wisdom and discernment . It makes us to become more attuned to His voice and direction, allowing us to walk in His plans and purposes.
