Luk 8:46,47 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
Jesus was on his way to attend to Jairus daughter. But as he went , multitudes thronged around him. Now a woman having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any pushed through the crowd from behind and touched the border of his garment and immediately the flow of blood stopped.
The woman was healed immediately but was very fearful when Jesus singled her out. This was occasioned by the fact that bleeding made her ceremonially unclean. Accordingly, she was not supposed to mingle with the populace because the ailment made her ceremonially unclean. Jesus did not call her out to embarrass her but to make a public profession of her faith. When she saw that she could not escape notice, she came forth and fell down before him. Jesus said to her, ” Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”
And you could facing a situation that has been draining you not only financially but also socially and spiritually. Regardless of how people around you may have classified you, like this woman, you must get up every day and keep pushing no matter what. You must keep pushing at the place of prayer, at the market place, as you move up the rudder, as you sharpen your skills etc Do not allow the nay Sayers to discourage you. Soon and very soon You will hear the master say , Daughter/ son, “your faith has made you whole, go in peace”.
