John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
Whatever strength, wisdom, or ability we think we possess, apart from Jesus, it all falls short. Jesus is not an optional add-on to life—He is the very center of life. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit without being connected to the vine, we cannot truly live, grow, or flourish without being in Christ. Any equation of life that does not include Jesus is incomplete and ultimately leads to emptiness.
Though we may pursue success, knowledge, good works, or even religious activity—if Jesus is not in the equation, we labor in vain. Christ is the source of our purpose, the strength of our walk, and the hope of our eternity. Without Jesus, all our efforts become hollow achievements that cannot stand the test of time or trial.
Colossians 1:17 “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” Acts 17:28 “For in Him we live and move and have our being…”
Jesus is not just part of life—He is life. Everything finds its meaning, order, and direction in Him. When we keep Him at the center, our lives align with God’s will, and we bear fruit that remains.
