“You have seen this, O LORD.
Do not keep silent. O Lord, do not be far from me.” Psa 35:22
Have you ever been falsely accused, mistreated, or just felt like life was unfair? David, the author of Psa 35, knew exactly how that felt. He was being attacked, and instead of seeking revenge, he turned to God and said, “Lord, you have seen this!” There are moments in life when we feel overwhelmed by trials, injustice or spiritual attacks. Then it seems as if God is silent or has abandoned us.
God sees everything—the good, the bad, and the chocolate-covered lies! God Sees Everything (Even When We Think He Doesn’t). We sometimes act like God is unaware of what’s happening. But He sees our struggles (Psa 34:17), Our faithfulness (Gal 6:9) and When people mistreat us (Heb 4:13). Sometimes, God’s silence is just a test before your breakthrough! When God Seems Silent, He’s Still Working: God was silent for Job, but He restored him double (Job 42:10), Jesus was silent before His accusers, but He won the victory (Isa 53:7).God may seem silent, but He is working behind the scenes (Rom 8:28).
If you feel like life is unfair, remember: God sees,God hears, God will act. He sees your faithfulness – Keep going! He hears your prayers – Keep praying! He will act in His time – Keep trusting! simply say: “Lord, YOU have seen this. I trust You!” And remember—God sees the WHOLE picture, even when we only see the frame.
