Ps 3:3 (NIV)
“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.”
The enemy rejoices when he sees your head bowed in struggle, thinking the battle is his. But when you lift your voice and say “Amen,” you declare agreement with God’s promises. What looks like surrender to defeat becomes surrender to His will. Amen is not weakness—it is faith speaking in the storm.
Job sat in ashes, his head down, yet his “I know my Redeemer lives” shook the enemy’s plans. When you still worship in your lowest point, the devil realizes he cannot steal your hope. Amen is a weapon that turns pain into prayer and despair into declaration.
So let the devil mistake your bowed head for defeat. When you rise and say “Amen,” you declare that your faith still stands and your story isn’t over. “Amen” is how warriors say, “I’m still here.” It’s how believers say, “God’s not done.” The enemy thought he won—until you said Amen.
