Psalm 112:4 (NKJV) – “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”
Life often presents moments of uncertainty and darkness, but God’s Word assures that light will dawn for the upright. The psalmist speaks of divine illumination that breaks through gloom for those who walk in integrity and faith. Just as morning light dispels the night, God’s favor brings clarity and hope. Isaiah 60:1 says, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
This light is not merely physical—it represents guidance, protection, and divine presence. Job, though engulfed in suffering, declared, “He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). The upright may face trials, but God turns darkness into light, confusion into direction, and fear into confidence.
Therefore, keep faith even in seasons of obscurity. Continue to live righteously and serve with compassion, for the Lord’s light will break forth at the appointed time. Trust His promises, lean on His wisdom, and remember John 8:12: “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
